E-boatique is an innovative company founded in January 2018 and is currently operated by Pure Boating Ltd in partnership with Dane & Dutch Ltd to offer expertise in all aspects of electric boating. Whether you wish to buy, broker or re-engine a boat, E-boatique can help. E-boatique acts as agent for a number of selected boat manufacturers worldwide as well as offering engineering services to electric boat owners.

Why E-boatique ?

The vision of the founder Gillian Nahum, director of Pure Boating Ltd, was to set the benchmark for electric boat ownership in the UK and elsewhere. While electric boating is nothing new, a positive appetite for the boating fraternity to embrace this clean hassle-free form of propulsion, especially for the inland waterways, is growing year on year. Most marinas and moorings have access to an electricity supply so “cruise and charge” can be as easy as “park and charge” for an electric car. In fact in many cases it is even more practical as trips tend to be no longer than a day and all the electric boats sold by E-Boatique are designed to cruise non-stop for at least 8 hours.

Gillian is frequently referenced in the latest tome by Kevin Desmond, Electric Boats and Ships (published 2017 by McFarland). Her 30 years experience in the field of electric propulsion for boats probably marks her out as one of the longest serving sales persons in the field. Gillian also served as chair of the Electric Boat Association and used to lecture on electric vehicles both in Europe and at home in the early nineteen nineties.

As a director of Pure Boating Limited which offers day hire to the boating public she has first hand knowledge of the simplicity, silence and security offered by electric boats when used in the public domain.
