This launch was based on an Edwardian design and incorporate all the grace and beauty of a fine traditional launch.
The decks are hand fashioned in solid mahogany with an outer margin board and rubbing strake and laid decking to fore and aft sections. These are all to a high gloss varnish finish.
The cabin is stylishly raked back and traditionally construction of solid mahogany with joints mortice and tenoned. Inside the cabin there are full length berths/seats to port and starboard. Towards the aft end there is a galley with stove/heater unit, sink, fridge, storage cupboards and drawer. Opposite to this is a toilet with flushing w.c. and washbasin. The interior is finished off very much in style of an Edwardian launch with many subtle features which add to the air of craftsmanship throughout.
The ‘hideaway’ aft cockpit consists of a wrap round seat sufficient for two or three people. This is bounded by upright coaming with decorative capping.
The forward cockpit consists of a forward helmsman’s position to port with steering and control console. To starboard there is a similar passenger seat. Forward of these is a wrap round cockpit seat which is supported on decorative turned seat legs. The hull above and below the seat line is covered with decorative solid mahogany cladding. All cabin furniture and deck fittings are of polished brass/gunmetal.
The hull is hand laid with a choice of colours, reinforced in stern and keel sections. The underside is epoxy coated for added protection against osmosis and has boot top and antifoul applied. The hull has full length engine bearers and cross floors bonded in, internally with fore and aft bulkheads likewise. This makes the whole structure extremely rigid.
