This is the perfect boat for someone starting out with a boating business. With space for 12 and a mix of open cockpits and seating inside with a sliding roof Still Waters can be operated by a solo skipper.
The boat is built of GRP by Stelco whose director retired recently having built in excess of 150 electric boats during his career (founder also of the Steam and Electric Launch Company).
The BSS certificate is valid to 2022 and the EA licence is valid through to December 2021.
Internally there is seating to port and starboard with a table on the port side. Although there is currently no actual toilet on board there is a locking heads compartment amidships. The boat was originally converted from an electric cruiser, designed by John Moxham, and one could easily reinstate the galley and sleeping berths.
I particularly like the easily accessible batteries on either side of the boat, externally located adjacent to the windows. The forward and aft cockpits both have fitted grey vinyl cushions with blue trim to match the blue dralon cushions in the cabin.
The boat is currently moored near Maidenhead in Berkshire where she can be viewed by appointment.
